The Loughborough University Engineering Student Undergraduate Research Experience (ENSURE)

The ENSURE scheme offers stipend awards on a competitive basis to eligible Undergraduate students to participate in research at Loughborough University during the summer vacation period.

Collection and nature of data

Eligible students completing application forms and Loughborough University academics completing project forms for the ENSURE scheme will do so via www.loughborough-ensure.co.uk a website designed, developed and hosted by Eazytiger Ltd, for the sole purpose of the ENSURE selection and award program. The information gathered will not be used for any other purpose. Students will be asked to provide personal data to support their application through the website, including name and address, nationality, contact details, education history etc.

Storage and security of data

The data collected is to be stored in a secure fashion which will only be accessed by authorised password protected users, including eligible students with an account, authorised Loughborough University personnel and Eazytiger Ltd. Eazytiger Ltd are taking the appropriate measures to protect the data stored and secure the information in accordance with Data Protection and Privacy laws.

Data controller and processor

The University will review eligible students application data for the selection and award process, and for the purpose of this agreement is the "data controller". Eazytiger Ltd through hosting the service will process the data and therefore be recognised as the "data processor". Eazytiger have access to the data for website development, operation and maintenance purposes and will not use, alter, delete or destroy data without consultation or instruction from the data controller.
